To ensure we provide the best and most urgently needed items to survivors and their children, and to promote a safe, healthy and clean environment at our facilities, please note the following:

  • We can only accept donations that are in new/unopened condition unless specifically noted otherwise in the list below. For any items that indicate that “gently used” is acceptable, please make sure they are clean and in working/useable order.

  • We can only accept donations as listed on our Wish List. Please kindly call 541-382-9227 if you have questions about donating items not currently listed on our Wish List and we can also help to provide alternative community partners who may benefit from your donation.

We accept Wish List donations at our Admin office, no appointment needed, Monday-Thursday from 9am - 3pm

IMMEDiATE NEEDS — week of November 13, 2023

  • Women’s Snow Boots (all sizes, new or gently-used)

  • Protein drinks (for example, Boost, Ensure)

  • Camping gear (4-person waterproof tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads - See Amazon list for options, thank you!) *new or very gently used/almost new only, thank you!

  • Individually packed snacks (granola bars/fig bars/protein bars, mixed nuts/trail mix, goldfish crackers/sandwich crackers, fruit snacks/fruit leather, cup-o-noodles/mac & cheese cups/microwave soup cups)

  • Adult Bath/Body Wipes

  • Bath-size towels & hand towels (NEW only)

  • Women’s Underwear (all sizes, NEW only)

Clothing & Shoes:

  • Laundry Detergent Pods (HE type, scented or unscented)

  • Dryer Sheets (UNSCENTED or scented)

  • Disinfecting wipes (like Lysol or Clorox wipes)

  • Liquid hand soap (antibacterial and/or unscented type)

  • Kitchen scrubber sponges

  • Trash bags (13-gallon)

  • Toilet bowl cleaner

  • Liquid dish soap

  • Dishwasher Detergent Pods

  • Swiffer Wet Jet cleaning pads / Swiffer cleaning solution

Toiletries / Personal Care Products:

  • Toilet Paper

  • Adult Bath Wipes / Baby Wipes

  • Tampons / Pads

  • Face Wash

  • Hair brushes / combs / hair picks

  • Hair ties / scrunchies

  • Cosmetics - eyeliner/shadow, mascara

  • Lip stick / lip gloss / Chapstick

  • Makeup remover wipes

  • Lotion - Hand & Body, Face (full-sized containers/bottles)

  • Shampoo (full-sized bottles)

  • Conditioner (full-sized bottles)

  • Body wash (full-sized bottled)

  • Deodorant

  • Disposable razors

  • Tweezers / nail clippers

  • Hair Dryers / Curling Irons

  • Nail care products / Nail care kits (nail polish, polish remover)

  • Sewing kits

Infant / Child Needs:

  • Special books for children of survivors (see Amazon list)

  • Kids hair supplies - brushes, hair ties, clips & headbands

Canine Companion Supplies:

  • Dog biscuits or chew treats

  • Dry dog food (10 lb bags or smaller)

  • Canned dog food

ONGOING NEEDS FOR ALL PROGRAMS:

  • Chevron/Shell, Fred Meyer, Albertsons/Safeway, or Walmart Gift Cards. *Gift cards in increments of $25 or $50 are so helpful!

  • Monthly planners / journals and pens

  • Microwaveable soups (shelf-stable)

  • Ground coffee

  • Tea (especially chamomile, Sleepy Time, peppermint (in bags only, no loose tea please)

  • Cup-O-Noodles / Ramen

  • Prepackaged snacks (cheese/cracker packs, granola bars or other healthy bars, Pop Corners or other healthier chip snacks)

  • Duffle bags / soft-sided suitcases / backpacks (medium/large)

  • Purses / wallets

SELF-CARE ITEMS FOR ALL PROGRAMS:

  • Therapeutic color books for adults

  • Color pens for therapeutic color books and wall posters.

  • Heating pads (microwaveable type). Store-purchased or hand-made are wonderful (please include contents inside, such as rice or flax and heating instructions).

  • “How to Love Yourself Cards” by Louise Hay (see Amazon List)

  • Journals / Spiral-bound notebooks

ONGOING NEEDS FOR MARY’S PLACE:

  • Squishmallows / soft toys - NEW only, any size but small preferred (see Amazon list)

  • Prepackaged snacks including Pop Corners, Fruit Leather, Instant Mac-n-Cheese Cups, Cliff Z-Bars

  • Unscented cleaning wipes

  • Unscented liquid hand soap

    ITEMS WE CANNOT ACCEPT:

    X Anything that is broken or not cleaned

    X No opened/used or expired toiletries/personal care items

    X No opened/used cleaning products

    X No opened/used, expired food or perishable food

    X No Bedding (unless specified)

    X No furniture, mattresses or appliances of any kind

    X No stollers, car seats, cribs, walkers or other baby items

    (unless specifically noted on our list)

    X No stuffed animals / Toys (unless noted on our list)

    X No perfumes

    X No used underwear

    X No cell phones, computers, or tablets

    X No travel-size toiletries

    X No books (unless noted in our list)

    X No items dropped outside of business hours, please.

All donations are used where needed most. Due to storage limitations, in-kind donations may be re-donated to a local, nonprofit organization, or sold with proceeds remaining with Saving Grace.
